Flange depressurisation in the oil heater, fuel spill in an area of 20 square metres and detection of a victim who has to be rescued - this is the script of exercises at the Kazan CHPP-3, which comes under TGC-16, TAIF Group's generating company. The goal of the exercises is to determine the level of readiness of the volunteer emergency response team (VERT) to actions in case of emergency.

“The general evaluation of the exercises is good. The staff of the Kazan CHPP-3 is a hundred per cent ready for all emergency response actions,” head of the training, deputy chief engineer of the Kazan CHPP-3 Aleksandr Vasiltsov summed up.
