'Russia – Islamic World' annual summit opened on 20 May in the capital of Tatarstan. Over 1,500 guests from 35 countries participated there.

A discussion of a new architecture of the world economy and prospects of the development of the financial industry of OIC countries in the Russian regions in the context of the international economic relationships were the key topic of the summit.
