XXIX Nuriyev Festival, the opening night: the premiere of La Esmeralda at Kazan Opera Theatre

On 11 May, the XXIX International Festival of Classical Ballet named after Rudolf Nuriyev was opened on the stage of the Tatar Musa Jalil State Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet in Kazan with the premiere of the classic romantic ballet La Esmeralda on the music by Cesare Pugni and Riccardo Drigo. All the ballet troupe of the Theatre, mime ensemble, as well as invited soloists of the Kremlin Ballet Theatre take part in the play.
