A mourning service for the plane catastrophe dedicated to the victims of the Boeing 737-500's crash in Kazan took place at Kazan international airport on 17 November. Having remembered all plane catastrophe victims by name, the people who gathered honoured their memory with a minute of silence and laid flowers to the memorial.

The tragedy was on 17 November 2013. The Boeing 737-500 operating the flight U9-363 from Moscow to Kazan crashed on final approach at the Kazan airport. All 50 people on board died, 44 passengers and six cabin crew members.
