Republic Day and City Day ended with a concert of the 8th Kazan Autumn opera festival, which took place in front of the Agriculturists' Palace near the Kremlin walls. Young opera singers - soloist of Helicon Opera Olga Tolkmit and leading baritone of the Bolshoi Theatre Andrey Zhilikhovsky - performed together with the State Symphony Orchestra of Tatarstan under its art director Aleksandr Sladkovsky and Vasily Valitov.
