Nizhnekamsk celebrates republican Chemist's Day 2018

Republican Chemist's Day was celebrated on May 23 in the ice palace Neftekhim Arena. Within its framework, it was held the exhibition of enterprises of the chemical complex of the republic. As usual, a large stand was presented by the city-forming enterprise Nizhnekamskneftekhim. It presented the company's products - synthetic rubbers and plastics, which aroused great interest among the visitors.

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov was presented with the stand by Director General of Nizhnekamskneftekhim PJSC Azat Bikmurzin, who told about the results of 2017. Last year, the company sold products at 162,1 billion rubles. It was shipped 702,000 tonnes of rubbers, which is by 36,600 tonnes more than in the previous year.

After the tour around the exhibition, the official part of Chemist's Day 2018 began, where the best employees of the chemical industry of the republic were awarded. Nizhnekamskneftekhim distinguished the labor dynasty of Borisovs, whose total period of employment in the company is 257 years. In the category ''Scientists, scholars-industrialists, rationalizers of production'', it was distinguished the head of research lab of waste water at the research and technology centre Guzel Gilaeva and member of the scientific and technological centre Nadim Shaydullin.

Especially valuable awards were received by the employees of the industry from the hands of the president of Tatarstan. Rustam Minnikhanov presented certificates of honour of the President of Russia to Zakary Davletgaraev, a mechanic for instrumentation and automation of the 6th category of the workshop for maintenance and repair of instrumentation and automation in the manufacturing shops of the plant for production of isoprene-monomer at the automation centre of Nizhnekamskneftekhim, and to Ravil Bilalov, a distillation apparatchik of the 6th category of the workshop of synthesis of ethylene oxide at the plant of oligomers and glycols. The honorary title ''Honored Chemist of the Republic Tatarstan'' was awarded to Aleksander Sokolov, senior master of the shop area for maintenance and repair of instrumentation and automation in the manufacturing shops of the plant of oligomer and glycol automation centre in Nizhnekamskneftekhim.
