The Tatarstan figure skater who won a silver in the team event in Pyeongchang returned to Kazan on 4 March after participating in the 23rd Winter Olympic Games. Representatives of the Tatarstan Ministry on Youth Affairs and Sport, Tatarstan Figure Skating Federation, Tatarstan Sports Preparation Centre as well as young skaters of the Specialised Children and Youth Sports Olympic Reserve School from Kazan, sports fan, the media, friends and the athlete's mum Mrs Tarasova welcomed Evgenia Tarasova at the airport who came to her native city with her partner Vladimir Morozov.

We should remind that the athletes representing the Republic of Tatarstan won 4 medals - 2 silver and 2 bronze - at the 23rd Winter Olympic Games in Pyeongchang. Evgenia Tarasova, who competes in doubles with Vladimir Morozov, won a silver in figure skating team event. Andrey Larkov added 2 medals to the national team's collection of medals (silver and bronze), and Anna Nechayevskaya was third with the women's national team in 4х5 km relay.
