On 26 August, near the wall of the monastery of Sviyazhsk, which became part of the scenery, it was the premiere of the opera by Alexander Manotskov The Dreams of Jacob, or Scary Place. The libretto was based on texts from the Old Testament and monastic Chronicles to the personal records of Sviyazhsk prisoners of the colony. ''In essence, it is the plot of any opera, but this is written and placed in Sviyazhsk and that's about it,'' said composer and director of the opera, Alexander Manotskov. The premiere was visited by the photo reporter of Realnoe Vremya.
