Nizhnekamskneftekhim becomes the winner of Republican contest on energy efficiency

Yesterday, on 14 March, the 18th international exhibition ''Energy. Resource Saving'' started in Kazan. This year more than 140 companies from Tatarstan, the Russian Federation and CIS countries as well as 14 foreign companies have become participants of the event. The permanent participant of the industry event is Nizhnekamskneftekhim PJSC. As usual, before the beginning of the forum the diplomas of the degree were awarded to the companies that were the winners of a special competition held annually withing the framework of the international exhibition. Nizhnekamskneftekhim is among the awardees, the jury recognised it as the winner in the nomination ''New products'' for the modernization of production of isoprene with bringing of the capacity to 330.000 tons per year. Through innovation of technology and equipment, the company will achieve not only reduction of energy consumption but also raw materials and will get an environmental effect. For example, the heat consumption will decrease by more than twofold, from 19.4 per Gcal per tonne to 9.5 Gcal.
