Commemorative plaque to commemorate first director of Kazanorgsintez installed in Kazan

Today, on August 29, the commemorative plaque in honour of the first director of Kazanorgsintez PJSC Vladimir Lushnikov was installed in Kazan, in the house No.113 on the Dekabristov Street, at the intersection with the Lushnikov Street. Vladimir Lushnikov made a great contribution to the development of the chemical industry not only of the city but also the country. He has been awarded the order 'Badge of Honour' twice for outstanding achievements, the badges of the Ministry of Chemical Industry: 'Badge of Honour', 'Expert in the chemical industry' and 'Honorary Chemist of the USSR', he was awarded the Orders of Red Star and of the Red Banner of Labour. In 1971, by the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR order, he was awarded the honorary title of Hero of Socialist Labor.

The Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Kazanorgsintez Ruslan Shigabutdinov, Director General of the company Farid Minigulov, the wife of Vladimir Lushnikov Elvira Kochneva, the veterans of KOS took part in the opening ceremony of the commemorative plaque.

'He is certainly a wonderful man, person, a man-authority, who built the plant the Kazan plant of organic synthesis and for 24 years was its permanent head. Vladimir Petrovich was engaged not only in the deals of the plant,' said Farid Minigulov. 'He has done a lot for Kazan: with his participation there were built many social objects – kindergartens, schools, hospitals. His memory will be immortalized by this plaque.' The Chemists' recreation center, the swimming pool Orgsintez appeared in Kazan thanks to Vladimir Lushnikov.

Director General of Kazanorgsintez told about the milestones in the life of Vladimir Lushnikov, who all his life devoted to chemistry. From 1939 to 1953, he worked as an engineer and then promoted to a chief engineer at the chemistry plant named after Kuibyshev (Tasma). In 1953-1958, he was the director of the Photogelatin plant No. 9. From 1958 to 1982, he was the head of Kazanorgsintez.

Elvira Kochneva stressed that in 1958 her husband began to establish a new large enterprise and did everything possible for its further formation and development. Under the leadership Lushnikov, the design capacity of most currently operating plants were commissioned and developed. By 1982, the company produced more than 170 types of products. The sales volume reached 200 million rubles a year. Their products 'Organic synthesis' supplied to more than 2 thousand companies in the country and exported to 15 foreign countries. 'I am proud that my joint life was together such an extraordinary man!' said Elvira Kochneva.
