TAIF-NK’s new technology is winner of 2016 Tatarstan Gas and Petrochemical Forum

Tatarstan Gas and Petrochemical Forum has taken place recently at Kazan Fair. The 23 International Exhibition called Oil. Gas. Petrochemistry was also held there.

216 enterprises of the gas and petrochemical complex of Tatarstan, Russia and 25 countries have taken part this year. TAIF-NK PJSC – one of the leading oil refining companies of the Republic of Tatarstan – exhibited its products.

President of the Republic of Tatarstan, heads of ministries and departments of the sector, leading Russian and foreign companies took part in the first day of the forum. President traditionally awarded the winners of the contest certificates. TAIF-NK PJSC was awarded Grand Prix in 'Production with New or Updated Characteristics' for its new technology of 50/70 and 70/100 Construction Bitumen production that complies with the state standard. Biturox plant with new and updated characteristics is used for its production.

The governmental delegation headed by Rustam Minnikhanov visited stands of big companies that participated in the huge exposition, which occupied two large pavilions. The delegations also had a look at the exhibition of TAIF-NK.

TAIF-NK PJSC director general Rushan Shamgunov told honourable guests about the results of production of goods and fulfilment of the largest investment project – erection of the Heavy Residues Deep Conversion Complex (HRDCC) – that the company has achieved in 8 months in 2016. Nowadays the construction is coming to an end. Start-up and commissioning are taking place there. The director general of the enterprise stressed the HRDCC will annually refine 3,7m heavy petrochemical products and get light goods – naphtha, diesel fuel, Euro-5 eco gasoline and straight-run gasoline.

People who wished to have a closer look at the exposition of TAIF-NK and know about the assortment of its production were able to do it in the second pavilion of Kazan Fair Exhibition Centre until 9 September.
