A huge number of streets was blocked in Moscow to celebrate one of the most important Muslim festivals. Hundreds of police officers provided security of the believers.

The mass celebrations were held in the Moscow Cathedral Mosque. The Chairman of the Council of Muftis of Russia Ravil Gainutdin read prayer on the occasion of the feast of sacrifice.
