The 12th Krutushka ethnic festival where amateurs of contemporary ethnic music and folklore meet is taking place in late August near Kazan. Guests of the two-day event can also try their hand at being a potter or weaver, playing unusual musical instruments, they can also listen to lectures, buy a souvenir at a traditional craftsmen's fair.
