The 33rd Nuriyev Festival opened in the M. Jalil Tatar Opera and Ballet Theatre. La Bayadère ballet by L. Minkus staged by Vladimir Yakovlev opened the programme of the festival including 8 plays this year. The main roles were performed by Kimin Kim (Mariinsky Theatre) and Oksana Kardash (Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Theatre).
