The 4th interregional military and historical festival East-West. Patriotic Wars of Russia with trick riding, reconstruction of defence of the village near Smolensk and a quest took place on the territory of the Tatarstan National Museum in Kazan on 3 and 4 August. The programme of the festival on 3 August was dedicated to the Patriotic War in 1812 and bears the name “All Russia Remembers It for a Reason”. The reconstructors recreated the Battle of Smolensk on that day.
