In Kazan there was held the Victory parade on the Svoboda square. The officers and cadets of the Kazan High Command School, the officials of the bodies of Internal Affairs in RT, the administration of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in RT, the customs administration, students of the Kazan State Technological University, students of the Kazan State Technical University named after A. N. Tupolev, students of Kazan State Medical University, students of the Suvorov military school, students of the Kazan cadet boarding school named after the hero of the Soviet Union I. Kuznetsov, the participants of military operations in Afghanistan and other local conflicts participated in this event.
Also, BTR-80, KAMAZ-43269 Vystrel and KAMAZ-63968 Taifun-K and other military vehicles participated in the parade. The parade was finished by the combined military orchestra of the Kazan garrison. The celebration continued with the concert.
