The national team of France won the team of Australia in the FIFA WC first group stage match in Russia. The meeting of Group C was in Kazan and ended 2-1 in favour of the Frenchmen. Antoine Griezmann (58 minute, penalty) and Paul Pogba (81) scored the balls from the team of winners. Mile Jedinak (62, penalty) made his mark in the Australian team.
