The first International Turkic Cinema Festival with the participation of cinematographers from seven countries - Russia, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, opened in Kazan on 21 March. Tatarstan, Bashkortostan, Yakutia, Khakassia, Chuvashia and North Caucasian regions represent the Russian Federation at the forum.
