Russian President Vladimir Putin visited Kazan on 25 January. He arrived in the capital of Tatarstan late on the evening of 24 January and began with a meeting with the Islamic clergy. The Russian president also visited Kazan Aircraft Production Association and took part in All-Russian educational forum ''Ahead together!''.
