The first sectoral WorldSkills championship in IT DigitalSkills opened in Innopolis on 11 December. Russian Minister of Communications Nikolay Nikiforov, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Protection of Russia Lyubov Yeltsova and Director General of WorldSkills Russia Union Robert Urazov opened the IT competitions.
The tournament lasted until 15 December. Specialists of IT companies, university and college students from more than 15 regions of Russia became its participants. Network and System Administration, CAD Engineering Design, Programme Solutions for Business, Web Design, Mobile Robotics and Graphic Design were the main skills of DigitalSkills.
