At the Kazan aviation plant named after S. P. Gorbunov, a branch of Tupolev PJSC, the ceremony of rolling out and transferring to the Flight-test station of the prototype of the strategic bomber Tu-160M2 has taken place for the first time in 10 years. The plane is built on the basis of the available factory-technological potential, its first flight is scheduled for 2018. The important event in the history of aviation coincided with the anniversary of the plant, which this year celebrates 90th anniversary. The ceremonicla events dedicated to the anniversary were attended by President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the commander of long-range aviation of the Air and space forces of the Ministry of Defence of Russia Sergey Kobylash, the President of UAC PJSC Yury Slyusar.
