On February 13, on the 144th anniversary since the birth of Feodor Chaliapin, Kazan festival named after the great singer traditionally presented ''Boris Godunov''. The role of Boris in the opera by Mussorgsky was performed by Mikhail Kazakov, Pimen – Sergey Kovnir, Varlaam – Mikhail Svetlov-Krutikov. The onductor is Vasily Valitov.
