Hillary Clinton's trip to Kazan: walk with Presidnet, Muslim marriage at Qul Sharif Mosque and photo shoot at KFU

Today we knew the results of the U.S. Presidential election. There were three major candidates, but only two of them could really occupy the post of the head of the state - Hillary Clinton from the Democratic Party and Donald Trump from the Republican Party. If Clinton had won these elections, she would have been not only the first female president of the USA but also the first American president who has visited Kazan.

Hillary Clinton's visit - who was the State Secretary of the USA at that moment - to the capital of Tatarstan was on 14 October 2009. It traditionally began with an excursion in the Kazan Kremlin that was ran by Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev. At Qul Sharif Mosque, the state secretary witnessed a Muslim marriage. Later she met with professors and students of the Kazan University.
