The main event in the world of Tatar design and urban culture Hay Bazaar contemporary Tatar culture festival is taking place today in the Old Tatar Settlement and the Kaban Lake Embankment. This year the festival celebrates its 10th anniversary and is dedicated to the 1100th anniversary of the adoption of Islam by Volga Bulgaria and the Year of Digitalisation announced in Tatarstan in 2022. The programme of the festival includes a design market, master classes for kids and adults, lectures, a theatre promenade, a photo area, a Tatar tea ceremony, an audio guide, films, a contemporary music concert and much more.
